After all my wiping and polishing this is the result – 19 of the 39 possible LEGO monofigures. I really like how they look all collected together.

I’ve lately been distracted by my newest LEGO obsession: monofigures. In fact I’ve been so distracted I haven’t finished posting my custom Ninjago minifigures. So, a break from that to post about monofigures.
After finishing my custom Skales Jr. minifigure I was ready to move on to my next project, all of the Ninjago ninjas in their casual disguises. I started with Jay.
After finishing all those hairpieces, the next step in my LEGO customizing adventure was decals. I spent a lot of time reading various articles and watching some videos on how to apply decals, but that may have been a procrastination technique.
Next on my list we’re the hair pieces for Kai, Nya, and Zane. These required more extensive cutting and shaping and painting of LEGO pieces.
Ninjago elemental master Neuro’s hairpiece provided me with my first opportunity to actually cut and shape a LEGO piece. (Of course I found out last week that LEGO is releasing a Neuro minifigure in one of the Toys R Us Bricktober sets!)
With my confidence riding high on the success of the Garmadon and Lloyd customizations, I decided to start work on the Ninjago elemental masters minifigures.
Another character from Ninjago without an available minifigure is young green ninja Lloyd. Making my own was pretty straightforward, except for the hair.
